All the goods offered for sale by Vintage Model Trains are second-hand unless otherwise stated. They will be offered for sale without their original packaging or instructions unless this is specifically indicated in the description.

We will always advise you of any parts that are missing so that you are aware of this before you order. This information will be included with the description of the item. If we were to offer for a sale an item that is broken we would explicitly state that it was so. If you require more information regarding the condition of any item for sale please contact us.

All items for sale on Ebay are offered as single lots. If a lot includes more than one item, for example three wagons, then the three wagons form one lot..

The goods offered remain our property until full valid cleared payment has been received.

Pricing/Conditions

All bids are to be in Pounds Sterling.

Vintage Model Trains ship to Europe, North America and Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Please check if in any doubt before bidding.

All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling.

If payment is made through the secure checkout using the Paypal option then payment can be by MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Delta or Solo. If you wish to post a payment then payment can be made by cheque, postal order or cash. You will receive further details to enable you to make a postal payment in the "congratulations" email that all winning bids receive.

Cash must be sent by registered post to safeguard both Vintage Model Trains and the purchaser.

We will only accept cheques drawn from a UK bank or a bankers draft in £ sterling

Cheque payments in excess of £20 may require 5 working days to clear at the discretion of Vintage Model Trains taking into account customer history. Please allow for this when waiting for your item to be shipped to you.

All items are normally dispatched within 1 to 3 working days of the receipt of a valid payment or a cleared payment, although this may be extended at various times during the year or during busy periods. You will receive an email to confirm that your order has been dispatched.

We want you to be completely satisfied with all the goods that you receive from Vintage Model Trains and we use our best endeavours to describe goods accurately and fairly. If the goods that you receive are not acceptable for any reason then contact us to advise us of the issues and return the items within 14 days for a refund or exchange - it's your choice.  You will be responsible for all carriage charges. Please include a note with the package with your name and address on and a reminder of the issue..

Shipping/Handling

We have the right to make partial deliveries, as long as they do not cause unreasonable hardship for the customer. When partial shipments are made, additional shipping costs will apply only when prior agreement has been reached.
